Yes, Janice, he was quite old to conduct a mass shooting.

Several people at my local range who are AR enthusiasts said- after watching the various video recordings- that he likely had a "GAT Crank" on his rifles. This is based on the very consistent rate of fire. I'm not an AR person so I have no idea, but that is what multiple people said.



If true, I'd expect these cranks to be banned immediately.

Start the video at 4:37 and you could imagine the shooter probably had an identical configuration as far as weapon, crank, and chair for support.
