ADXS has roughly three quarters of operating cash (#msg-133219185), which is cutting it pretty close, even after allowing for milestone payments from AMGN (#msg-133292350).

AXAL approval in the EU is far from assured.

If ADXS were to wait, say, 6 months to finance, the stock market could conceivably be in a tailspin that is not conducive to raising capital. This is an issue not only for ADXS, but also for biotech stocks in general—e.g. RVNC (#msg-132973720).
