Alea--A comment on your "Uncertainty" Theory. You write:
It's worth looking at different possibilities. Personally I think the uncertainty explananation is the most likely.
"BUT SKS doesn't know how many units will deploy, when they will deploy, how quickly applications will emerge, how accepting corporate consumers will be of the technology, how many will activate Wave's services, how strongly Wave's partners will market the product, how quickly competition will emerge or exactly what form it will take, or what usage cost the market will bear."

How do you know that Steven Sprague "doesn't know".?

Sorry to say, Alea, you don't know what S. Sprague KNOWS. Obviously, S. Sprague doesn't have exact numbers in the various categories you mention above. I mean that is a given.

But he has access to the NDAs, which would give him a pretty good idea how many Embassy software applications would be deployed and/or bundled, and the timeframes attached to the deployment.

Do you know the extent of INTELs commitment to bundle Embassy on Intel circuit board during the 4th quarter. I bet S. Sprague has a good grasp of the degree of commitment.

He must certainly be aware of the marketing plans of INTEL and the other OEMs which would offer him a sense of how strongly the partners intend to push WAVE products.

Try sticking to hard DD. Much of the good DD focuses on the extent to which the OEMs intend to commit to Trusted Computing. I weigh the DD, and believe that the OEMs are moving aggressively to make Trusted Computing happen. We shall see.
