I've worked retail just about my whole life. I got laid off 2 years ago. My former company has not been the same since 2008. I heard they recently have cut hours to keep from laying off people. I talked to some people who work for our competitors and they say the same. I'm talking brick and mortar. The living wage may do some of them in. I'm in Los Angeles btw.
