I don't think so honestly as far as JS is concerned. The liquor people want to get paid. Vegas is about everybody getting paid. The way the law is written it protects these guys and gives them a way to get a piece of the pie they are losing to MJ. So on that end yes i believe you are correct. I think they waited to last minute to force a hasty settlement that will be in their favor. That's just a guess.
