I agree 100%, I think they are doing more damage by giving out time lines and not meeting them. They would be much better off just delivering PR when they actually can and not promising something they can't deliver on. If I wasn't already invested and have faith in the company, them giving out promises of updates and not delivering would be a HUGE red flag.
