You cannot protect Donepzil...it is generic (out of patent). They own a trademark to Aricept which is their brand name for the Donepzil. It is now sold by many suppliers.

It isn't speculation. A2-73 combo or mono doesn't make a difference to Pfizer...They are familiar with the revenue stream they had before their patent ran out...so the would want it whether or not it was a combo. So would any BP.
