Another piece of evidence that it's not "shares" but "dollars":

Look at the website for DOLV for instance: they are talking about registered capital as well (7 mill DOLLAR) and not 7 mill shares

No way this means shares, because 7 million a/s shares is really not possible... 7 million dollar of worth on the contrary is what it means:

Zhong Ji Ming Yang New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. (referred to as ZJMY) was established in March 2015 with a registered capital of 50 million yuan (about 7 million USD).

All these Chinese sites are talking about registered capital, but i DOES NOT MEAN a/s !!
