Did Missling make a mistake by keeping his mouth shut? Yes. He could have been more transparent. He could have instilled some hope and promise. He could have laid out a clearer map in terms of timelines and financing. His vague responses and loose timelines hurt investor confidence.

He has a lot of talent but that is one of his major flaws as a CEO.
