I may have seen this story here.

We had an elderly couple that lived next door to us. Our 5 year old son loved Mr Brown. Mrs Brown died.

When Mr Brown came home from her services, he didn't go inside his house. He sat on the porch swing. Our 5 year old went over and crawled up in Mr Brown's lap. He was there for a long time.

When he came home I asked

"What were you and MR Brown talking about"?

" We weren't talking. I was helping him cry".
