VH2, I don't "do" option, so I don't look into it. 2b mentioned unusual put activity, so I went to check it. Since 80% of all options bought expire worthless, I actually use option (equity less QQQ options) as a contrary technical indicator. When a lot of calls are bought and few puts at a given strike, the contrary stance is that it is bearish. There are of course specific cases where insiders or pseudo insiders truly have information and they then buy deep out of the money options. That is quite immoral and illegal.
