I just posted about this the other day to 2b. I was AMAZED by the action.

As of a few weeks ago, the only options available were the Jan 04' 5's 10's and 15's. I only say this date because it was the last I had been to CBOE. I usually just see price and sales on my screen for mine.


ALL this years options are new as well as the 2.5's and the 7'5s on the 04's plus Feb 04'. ALL new.

Almost a third of the Aug put action happened today. someone is betting on no news soon. (by next Friday anyway)The Aug 5's last sale $1.55.

The open interst on the Jan 04 5's was about 1400 before this news hit.

Mostly Wavoid holdings. I know People who hold many of them.
I's say a third of that got bought recently in the $.15 -$.25 range.

The 10's were about 1,000
and the 15's I believe were in the 800 range, I do not watch these...
