Obviously a lot of the angst among investors here has to do with the "why haven't I gotten a return on my investment yet" factor. The other factor at work here is the 'why hasn't the pps gone lower so my (or my employer's) short position will be improved' factor. Both positions are an emotional, and irrational denial of the realities of what is happening with the people who are actually trying to accomplish the ground breaking goals before them. Their actions, believe it or not, need to be insulated from the trials and tribulations of share price since they can't operate on a strictly 'what will make a profit' basis. Of course that is not a practicle paradigm given the company's need for capital. Hence this complex and chaotic dynamic amongst all involved. This is a speculative venture that does not operate according to the same ground rules that an established business operates. Everything is new; the products, the markets, the business model, the operations, everything. GTE is trying to define itself and understand it's environment all at the same time. So the backbone of success here lies with the fundamental faith of long investors in the enterprise. If you believe in the concepts and want to take the chance on the execution, then invest, hold, and wait. If you're trying to apply traditional analysis to a work in progress, then you're trying to put a square peg in a round hole, good luck. The signs are positive in my opinion; we even have a profit incredibly enogh. Sharp elbows hurt sometimes, but we're pushing through the crowd.
