Very interesting, thank you very much for posting the response. Remember the context that "not giving suffering patients hope of a miracle cure" is probably the overriding concern here.

But please feel free to forward over any research papers that you receive that:

1. show this mechanism of action or pathway is flawed or
2. That there is a more promising approach.

Perhaps the approach is flawed... but I can't find the academic research the says it is. And at the moment all we have is the fallacy of appeal to authority. i.e. Some smart people say it won't work therefore it will not.

I assure you that there are a few people affiliated with Harvard who do like the A2-73 approach.

And as a side note, they say that dropping the "H-bomb" in the conversation to win an argument is considered terribly bad form.
