I've been helped in understanding the OTC market. Some of you folks click to OTC Markets website many times a day. The site lists the number of trades each session and the dollar volume. Compared to the NASDAQ and the Stock Exchange, it's like placing a bb next to a beach ball. Numbers, of course, add up. The amount of money lost by investors, eventually works out to mucho millions in the course of a calendar year.
As for those ETFs, when I wrote a paid for blog, back in 2009, my thinking was before investing in individual stocks, buy the entire market, or as close to the entire market, with positions in the NASDAQ 1000 Trust, the Dow Diamonds, the S&P 500 Spiders, the S&P 400 Mid Cap, and the S&P 600 Small Cap.
All have advanced, and continue to advance, since the market bottom on March 9, 2009.
He looks at you like you owe him money.
