Doesn't that analysis support that the share price only moves when its technically ready and that news isn't necessary for a move? Since the MMs have such a tight control on the share price, I can't see them losing often by being short or long, should the momentum turn against their holdings. Seems they can make the stock rocket or tank if they want to. Is there any sense of retail creating more buys vs sells or vice versa that moves stocks anymore? On some of these runs we've seen in this sector, aren't many of them due to the MMs matching trades and running a stock up by trading between themselves and then retail rides along on the coattails? How can a MM ever be on the wrong side?
