WBCTRADER Why Exaggerate? DUMB???

I did not say you were dumb I stated:

"You maybe in the cyber security sector for financial institutions, but it would appear your statements are coming from Ill informed sources. "

You really should begin to Understand COBAS as JPAUL Suggested.

In my post I mentioned a "Keyword" which you did not pickup on, which would seem to lead me to believe you do not have a clue as to what is going on in the World and U.S in of Standards current being set.

If a company is using Multichannel Device Utilizing A Centralized Out-of-Band Authentication System. They are infringing upon SFOR Patents.

So as to not give you the keys to the Kingdom in the latest of what's going on in the World, yet inform, as where the World is currently heading in World Standards for Cyber Security, here is and older White Paper on COBAS from Southern Europe.

Centralized Out-Of-Band Authentication System - Southeast Europe Cyber-security Conference

If you work for a particular Bank check with the Company that is Providing Cyber Security H/W and S/W and see if they are Using COBAS. Don't Multichannel yourself in to a finalized statement of

"To go back to my OG statement. OOB is just 1 form of multifactor. Financial institutions utilizing mulitfactor auth are not all infringing on sfor patents."

Perhaps currently not "All" are but for the most part the Vendors providing Cyber Security to Banks are. As you can see by the White Paper COBAS adaption has been on going for a long time.

Patents are made up of several "Claims" I've read the Proceedings of the Trial with PhoneFactor,Expert Witnesses, etc. the splitting of hairs in the Definitions of Terms. Similiar to what the definition of "is" is" LOL.

Is it any wonder why SFOR was successful in winning a settlement against PhoneFactor and MSFT. The Judge found in favor of most of SFOR's Claims within the Patents, And why they are Filing Patent Lawsuits against other Companies.

With what is going on in the world in regards to Cyber Security Standards currently being utilized yet not yet finalized, the International Patents Acceptance become very important.

49'er

Not arguing that OOB isn't 2 factor.

Arguing that there are other forms of 2 factor or multi auth than sfor patents. I provided links to ffiec website guidance on the matter yesterday.

I was argued with about that anyone using mulitifactor has to be infringing on sfor patents. That is not true. there are many forms of multifactor auth. OOB is just one of those, I did say OOB is basically a text back (just trying to get point across) then in classic i hub someone states "nope, ur dumb, not just text, can be a call to".

To go back to my OG statement. OOB is just 1 form of multifactor. Financial institutions utilizing mulitfactor auth are not all infringing on sfor patents.
