Is it possible that German regulators imposed the screening halt in Germany but NWBO decided to follow suit in other countries? Just a thought- not married to it. - Sturmndrang

That's what I've recently wondered as well. After diver mentioned his conversation with Les, and remembering back to that day myself... I've been thinking that if Germany didn't want to move forward with the automated process, they may have dug their heels in and halted the trial in their country.

And on a sideways note... the thought has crossed my mind that perhaps Germany was not pleased with the pricing negotiations with the company... and that aided in their decision to possibly halt the trial there. I'd heard mumblings that Germany was not on board with the pricing whereas the UK was. Anyhow... I'm only suggesting this as another possibility to consider... not as fact.

So if Germany put the brakes on, and Les mentions to diver that they don't want to have any other patients being treated unfairly (something like that)... that might add up to the company then deciding make the halt trial wide.

And I can't help but think that NWBO may not have even known the Germans had taken that step, until TastyGreen so helpfully informed us all.

Anyway... just wanted to note that I've been riding that same thought wave too.
