I wouldn't pay, yet, to get rid of the ads or download comics. There just isn't enough content, for me. Without DC/Marvel content, the golden-age section alone wouldn't draw me, in either.
Yesterday, Valiant announced they were renewing with Comixology. It could have been POWFolio.
I think POWFolio could provide a nice steady cash flow, but, I think REDG will have to work at it (not work hard, just work). The trending feature is a good start. I'm a bit surprised that Bleeding Cool hasn't mentioned the app. They did an article on Farrago Comics app.
