That is a better way to compare I will agree as well,apples to oranges. At this point POWfolio is two weeks old and definitely not in the league of others in terms of amount of content, and especially major premium content. I read an article that in 2013 Comixology had 1 billion page downloads. Hard to wrap our head around that one. But at that point it was already 6 or 7 years old.
The free content is massive, but that is the intent of POWfolio and not the others. I'm not sure how long it will take to get to that level but I know from what they have shared, it is the goal to offer those options for you guys who want to download the content instead of stream. My guess we'll get the subscription option first then the download option.
Comixology was on the market for many years before amazon bought it, so it is probably pretty safe to say we have some time before those avenues come knocking - but you never know, with the money facebook, amazon, and others have its more like their weekend golf money if they choose.
I will enjoy how things progress along the way. Very cool to be a part of this at the beginning to see how it progresses. docg
