That's crazy, I get frustrated if someone hits me just for 1k shares, but 5 share trades is ridiculous. I didn't know it happened as it is not something you see on Level II. I don't usually see trades under 100 shares. As you probably know (this part is more aimed at other, newer readers) All or None orders can be helpful, but they're not visible on Level II, so there's a considerably lower chance of getting filled unless you're in a very liquid stock.
