What do you expect in that case?? You think he could have just come out a couple of weeks back and said, "oh, btw we might be merging with a $800M company as well"? And said it "publicly"?? He couldn't have, because the deal was not finalized. He didn't even allude to it, because and this is a very important point, look at what happened to XKEM in anticipation of the approval. If they had even hinted of this before it was set in stone, the stock would have run up massively, and the moment the news hit, the sell off would have begun. I think the run up for this is JUST starting..

They blindsided us, there was no mention of this in their previous PRs or their interview. But, on a different note, this doesn't come as a complete surprise to me. (I mean, that they merged with a much bigger company). DId you really believe that a tiny company like FHAL had the resources to execute a contract the size of the Amazon contract?? They most probably got that contract because of their connections (not because of their performance in the market or their size), and knew all along that they will need a partner. Now, they are divulging who the partner is.

While there's a lot of speculation about $15, or $21 or whatever, don't forget, this merger didn't happen just because the 2 CEOs sat down on a sat and decided to merge their companies?? The moment they started working on the Amazon contract, this had been in the making.
