I can see it going down like this which i believe is much more realistic point of view:
Either Wolf was asked about her being uncomfortable with her obvious Directorship with Manicure and the fact that it currently is in a Lawsuit with Cognate and the fact that she was chosen to investigate NWBO and possibly making up questions that went beyond NW's scope for her own dual self interest.
Either she and/or her partners came up with the cute and ever so tightrope walking answer that because the Lawsuit was technically with Cognate and not with NWBO she could remain. '
You see I have seen this kind of crap take place int he real world where as some others who I won't mention refuse to live in the real world but this is how the game is played. Their lawyers review such relationships when there is a potential conflict of interests and because it was manicure vs Cognate and not NWBO it is fine, they forget about the ties that Cognate and NWBO have, they forget about LP being owners of both and that the two companies are joined at the hip so if you hurt one you hurt the other. To these crafty lawyered up folk Wolf has nothing to do with NWBO, only Cognate.
But the truth and the essence of the situation speaks volumes, if a Director is on the Board of manicure and Manicure is being sued by Cognate for taking inside company secrets that is not only hurting Cognate but hurting NWBO equally because of the relationship Cognate has with NWBO that anyone in their right mind can see unless you are an attorney and want to skirt the technical law. Notice that once LP called them Ondra quickly backed down, they didn't fight LP. They tried and failed to become NW's Trojan horse or Wolf's Trojan horse since the jury is out on that one. But isn't this calling the kettle black since Ondra was there to investigate NWBO for NW and yet they are thrones who should be investigated for breaking the law technically but all they get is ia slap on the wrist and their obvious excuse is pps.......but LP wasn't stupid she called them out on it and yes it was intended to make them and NW look bad because well they didn't come to the yard to play fair. NW either knew or didn't know but since he is the one who opened his activist mouth (btw for our benefits too) and wanted honesty and transparency and yet his main partner Ondra who was delegated to investigate turned out to be have a wolf in sheep clothing on their team....there is no
excuse in this case, ignorance just doesn't cut it. If NW didn't know he should have due to what her bio on Manicure's website says and his relationship with Michael Baldock at Ondra who had to know about Wolf's past due to his probable hiring Wolf both being in the Healthcare industry..
Sometimes in business like real life there are no coincidences that some members here want to believe.
When you play hard ball, you play to win and sometimes winning becomes everything and things get out of hand. Wolf knew, Baldock knew and NW might have known, maybe we will find that out someday. There is no excuse for what Wolf and Baldock knew and did imho. And look how easy it would have been if someone at Ondra stepped up to the pate and said hey guys I realize that NWBO & Cognate are two different companies but we know the incredible close relationship that exists there besides LP runnning the two firms so if LP is involved intimately in both and NWBO & Cognate are practically twins lets not play games with semantics and keep wolf away from the sheep for at minimum looks sake. After we are being hired by Cognate at NW's bequest to investigate NWBO how would it look if we become the investigated?
