I perhaps agree that NCE might be an issue. But I don't think 1A would hold anything back. REDUCE-IT is a virtual guarantee, remember? So in that case, the 1A case is irrelevant cause REDUCE-IT will result in Anchor population approval anyway. REDUCE-IT makes 1A moot. And if REDUCE-IT isn't successful, 1A won't matter either cause they won't have anything to promote. Would they still promote ANCHOR data and Jelis after REDUCE-IT fails? I doubt that.

Yes, NCE could be a big reason, despite JZ's "it's much ado about nothing". EVen AZN would rather start up their own CVE trial as opposed to trying to acquire AMRN? Weird.
