Yes I agree with you, they'll be eating their words, especially since David Ortiz is currently the most responsible Red Sox for keeping the Yankees out of the playoffs had they started today...

So I suppose he'll be the first DH to win the AL MVP award, not sure what the hype is about this other guy that used to be a DH, sure he was great, but he didn't ever win any MVP awards either... David Ortiz may break a barrier this season...
