Im with you.

To break it down for this stock;

"it's about correct timing based on"
- charts, (unreliable here other than as a general guide for guessing when they will act - maybe)
- previous dilutive patterns, (obvious here and very informative)
- material events, (none here)
- news, (none here)
- and promos(none here).

I see the logic pattern forming. You advocate a more hit and miss approach based on very little logical information. Much like a slot machine that someone has been sitting on all night because it will eventually pay off based on the simple odds.

"For example, VAPE ran from the low 2s to the low 6s in October. November saw runs from low 2s to above 3s. December saw a run from .0044 to .0096" (I agree with this too - market forces do exist, - see slot machine allegory above.)

"These are demonstrable facts. And the O/S is low enough that quick runs can still happen." (I understand. Basically you are saying anyone could get lucky at any time. There is a math equation that can calculate the odds.)

"I hope this helped educate you a bit, friend." I wish. I am genuinely curious but this seems a little simplistic. You seem to be saying that stocks will go up and down based on market forces and that, all things being equal, it is possible to time entry and exit in order to maximize return in the shortest time possible, thereby maximizing real return and minimizing real cost.

The key phrase that is often overlooked or under appreciated in finance from a simplistic understanding is "all things being equal". Look up "Ceteris paribus" on Wikipedia. Maybe you can get something from it. Maybe not. Not everyone understands everything or needs to. Maybe it isnt that important to you. Although finance and forecasting, what you call timing, is one of the primary doctrines that employs the concept. But only successful finance so it is not always apparent.

This is still just my opinion. I didnt get a lot of help from this one. I need grown up level help to understand this stocks appeal.

I think it has to do with fear. People are afraid they will miss out. Just based on the hype of the industry itself. But that cant be all. Are there no other options? Is it actually an actual desire to loose money like an addicted gambler has? That cant be it either. I will figure it out im sure. Anyone that has bought VAPE lately and wants to say why would be helpful. I would appreciate it. I think there is a social experiment here somewhere. Open source social experiment. Could be cool. We could learn a lot. GLTA
