People still racking their brain on why this is $1.96?!
It isn't complicated people. The answer is very simple and I have brought it up, only to be branded all sorts of titles. Someone mentions a VERY valid reason why this is at $1.96 and not "running up to interim", but you dismiss it because it has a negative connotation. Well of course the reason it is at $1.96 is going to have a negative connotation! It isn't $1.96 because scripts are exploding and they are near break even and don't have need for more financing, and have NCE!
It appears the only answer that is satisfactory to pie in the sky longs is that it is a conspiracy to hold the stock down. That the reason AMRN stock price is so low is because of how great AMRN is. um...what??!!
This will not run up to any interim results. No one, not even Thero, thinks this will be stopped at interim so people need to stop resting all their hopes on that!! The financial situation is not going away by itself, and so far, the court cases have not given AMRN anything of substance. Until then, the stock won't move. The market is tired of this stock and it's "potential", and the "just wait" mentality. It is time to actually put up or shut up. And right now it isn't putting up. NCE isn't coming anytime soon. 1A effect, which no one knows what that will even be (can't be more than slightly faster growth, but not fast enough to change the picture), is quarters away.
Until AMRN delivers something of SUBSTANCE, this will not run-up to anything. Especially an event which is likely to exacerbate the need for financing and set the timeline back several years for any sort of REDUCE-IT approval. 2019 approval if the study runs its course? You are all prepared to hold this for another several years? How many dilutions will there be by then? The share count is gonna be 300m+ before you know it.
IMO, the ONLY thing that right now could move the stock is major partnership or buyout. That is IT!!!
Show me stock has arrived. AMRN no longer will ever have the luxury of trading based on speculation and potential alone. It needs substance now. The market has spoken.
