Doesn't seem like that should be much of a problem. CRGP is the one paying the dividend- so all they would be doing is paying themselfs. On the other hand if COR's client sold short against stock they owned and planed on covering the short with the stock they owned and planed on covering later - like always happens in pinkyland- that would be a huge problem for COR's client- because, unknowly they would be on the hook for the divy.
