I will add them to the iBox when I update it during this autumn/winter, with your permission.
Some parts of my garden are very living soil now. Back in the day, I had very little worms. I've been shredding leaves and burying them for years. Now I have five composters that contribute to improving the soil.
What many perceive as working with compost, I find to be exciting plus it keeps me in shape. Autumn is my time of year when I rake leaves and it makes me feel young.
I think you recommended to me and others to read: Teaming With Microbes by Jeff Lowenfels & Wayne Lewis.
Cimi's recommended book of Farmers Of Forty Centuries by F.H. King was very valuable to my thinking.
Others include:
The Rodale Book of Composting [1982] and
The Gardener's Guide to Better Soil by Gene Logsdon.
I keep a pile of woodchips around to rot and the worms gravitate to it, but so do the turkeys.
There will be continued improvement and I was motivated even more after seeing your videos.
Thanks,
sumi
