SPDR S&P 500 (SPY)

as posted yesterday, imo, the selloff was probably painted to shake cheap shares.

when i saw it happening, my first thought was Russian tanks had just rolled into Ukraine.
but that news didn't appear in the usual feeds.

for those who don't think such a shake is possible with a massive market like SPY,
consider the current climate of fear,
and the emotional reaction to seeing a rapid series of steep red descending candles near end of day?

eg: what happens when an anxious herd of antelope hears the backfire of a car exhaust echo across the plains?
