So far...

I skipped step #1. I don't want to clash CCleaner with MSE. Still contemplating changing anti-virus to Windows Defender.

Did half of step #2. I did the Windows update, but not sure how to check and see if all my drivers are up to date.

Step #3 Completed. Updated Java and Flashplayer.

Step #4,I have Malwarebytes. Updated and ran last night. No issues.

That's as far as I got working top down on the list. I did run the defrag which is final Step #13.

That's what I've got done so far.

You mentioned often how you like CCleaner, so when I muster up the courage for the next battle, I'll be switching to Windows Defender. If that free from Microsoft?
