The stock of every public company in the world that is not traded on a US Exchange trades OTC in the US.


Not to be a pedant but that is not true. There are many public companies throughout the world that don't have a corresponding ADR listing on the OTC in the US.

These companies still have to adhere to SEC guidelines to list in the US and for many public companies throughout the world it simply does not make sense to do so, just saying.
