Two things..

"Time is of the essence" probably means that he will decide before the 3 years expires, in July. Because other than that, there really is no "essence".

There could be a million reasons why he's taking this long (lots to research, busy courtload, personal issues) but if you put that aside, the longer he takes, IMO the more probable it is that he will rule in our favor. Why? (Putting reasons for delays aside) What takes longer - to write an opinion that upholds FDA's decision (aka you guys were right all along) or to write a precedent setting opinion against the big government agency that will withstand an appeal?
