Escrow non-believers will not change their minds. Nothing can change their minds until they hear the actual announcement of payment. They have their opinions and are entitled to them. Certainly there is a great deal to be skeptical about! Almost 7 years of crap. It's understandable to be negative on all this.
I contend that escrows will be paid something. But as corrupt as our current administration is, FDIC included, I am not overly optimistic. They are as crooked as they come, and get away with it!
I do feel $10-30B is well within reach though. Yes, that would be life changing. I hope I am lowballing but would rather be conservative and get pleasantly surprised that I will be paying off all my family's and friends' mortgages for them.
