WaMu Capital Corp was a subsidiary of Washington Mutual Bank. Even court documents explain this. The letterhead on the pages in your link are lying to you.

WaMu Capital Corp entered the receivership, was sold to JP Morgan, was subject to the PA&A, was taken by the FDIC, blah blah blah.

The Boilermakers tried to sue (these were the securities they sued over). But they lost their argument in WA State court and they were denied.
