Great post Cabos as it gives me a chance to respond to your thoughts which I appreciated it.

I discussed "blocking out the noise" in that post because when I bought $ARWR last year that is not what I did. I sent links and reports and video links of target prices for $ARWR at $35+. I never once picked up the phone and called the company which I do most of the time in every other instance. $ARWR was by far my biggest loss of the year as was $EXEL the year before when I lost 50K on the trade. In both instances I believed what I read and did not do my own DD or follow up. A lot of it was due to lack of time but I got burned both times. $ARWR management lied to shareholders though so I am not sure what else I could have done other than not adding when the price was at $14 and again as it dropped lower into their data. I did this all while not being speaking to anyone from the company. I think I could have possibly done more but hindsight is 20/20 & I got burned.

With $KBIO, I fortunately was not burned too bad because I had tried to call them and they were not returning my calls when last year they had returned my calls. My gut had told me that something was not right because, as you mention, they have the "keys to the car" with small investors. I had initially had a full position but then reduced it to starter (w/share position) and sent out an alert the day before the stock got crushed with a few hrs left in the trading day.

The other thing I have had to institute into my own trading is risk management strategies. I have done this because I made a lot of money in biotech in 2010-2013 and saw that in 2014 I had to be more diligent and risk averse in my trading. I developed the starter, solid, & full position process for myself and readers on the board so that they could make small actionable trades acquiring profit or minimizing a loss. All this with the intent to stay in the game. Risk management is definitely the most difficult thing I have had to learn as a trader. For those working and not at their computer all the time it is even more of a challenge.

All that to say is that I understand where you are coming from & sorry for your losses. Biotech investing is definitely not what it once was as it now requires constant monitoring and follow up especially for the small investor. That is what I try to share with folks on the thread even though I don't always get it right. You spoke about $ABBV in the 20's range and look at it now. You kept telling me about it and that is one I should have listened to you on. I am buying more BIG BOARD biotechs this year and being more patient. Also going to be posting Analyst thoughts from credible companies to help get a jump on early movers in 2015. Continued success to you as I have always appreciated your insight and knowledge on the thread. I wish you nothing but the best!!
