Of the people that you say now that it is the year 2003 were lining up to invest money or even loan money to IDCC or whatever it was called at that moment in time.

Sure it looks like a great deal now.

Did you offer to loan them money them?

Are you looking to buy Napster now?

Those patents in the opinion of many had been proved worthless as a result of the MOT case. The value of the rest of the patent portfolio was highly questionable. It is very likely that any amount of money that anyone would have given for the patents would have been eaten up by existing debt though I admit that I do not now have the information about the balance sheet in 1994.

Again, are you willing to buy Napster today? If not, will you be complaining in ten years as a Napster investor that someone who did gets rich as a result?

Gimme a break. This is the height--or maybe the depth--of absurdity, jealousy, spite, greed and counting other people's money.

IMHO you oughta admire HC for having the foresight to invest AND RISK his money then. You should be studying his business strategies so maybe you can learn something. Ask him if he's planning to invest in Napster and maybe you can partner up with him?
