With an abundance of cheap coal and natural gas,it will be a hard sell right now in North America.

The profiteers don't care about the environment, all they care about is making money (now).

Europe has embraced renewable energy in a big way because they are paying through the nose for fossil fuels.

It all comes down to competitive enrgy pricing, that's what the utility companies are looking for.
