In another post you used gun shows as an example. There are areas where guns can be bought at gun shows or from individuals, without any regulation. There is no place, n the US, where voting isn't regulated, to varying degrees.
Republicans are working to better regulate voting, in order to better control voter fraud. Buying guns at uncontrolled gun shows and voting are not analogous. Incidentally, I'm against Don't Ask, Don't tell, when it comes to buying guns.
Comparing the regulations for buying guns and voting are analogous.
