Fordiamonds I used to be king of the long run-on sentence around these parts. Or at least I was accused of that, as I am accused of everyting else around here. However, I will gladly relinquish my crown to Sophist, who has the longest never-ending sentences I have ever seen. I keep wondering, as I read his posts, where are the periods? (Note: Perhaps I was accused of the longest never-ending post, rather than never-ending sentence, I just can't quite exactly recall right now). Joel's referenced sentence was pretty darn good, but he just can't hold a candle to Sophist on an ongoing post-by-post basis.

But I really fell out of my chair laughing and howling over your following comment:

And I haven't quit laughing. That ranks up there with the very best, including Corpgold's classic "butt-picking" post. Thanks I needed that.
