I recall these words from Andreas of PTW in June:

Sid has been working on the ING bonds for several years and has collected a huge file of documents pertaining to the ING bank, the bonds, the printer, document experts, the US Department of Justice, lawyers who have looked at the case, and people who have been temporarily jailed when attempting to use the bonds in financial transactions, etc. etc. Apparently ING has redeemed some of this series of bonds in recent years that were held by financial institutions which would seem to indicate that they are real.
