Apparently ING has redeemed some of this series of bonds in recent years that were held by financial institutions which would seem to indicate that they are real.

Of course they did. They redeemed the authentic bonds in 2010, when they matured. Why do I have the impression that Greiner doesn't know much about this issue apart from what Sid told him?
