Interesting web site and publications by Shlumberger on the hydrogen based energy conversion (meaning storage), and hoe it relates in many ways to what MVTG has to offer the energy storage markets and energy production on demand markets through Alstom et al.

They go on to describe the 3 main reasons why so far hydrogen has failed to meet its promise.

One thing to keep in mind is what first attracted me to the MVTG ERC process is that I already identified the need to store hydrogen as a liquid before I found MVTG..., not has pure H2 gas or liquid which is too costly and has safety issues, but to park the H atoms on a Carbon atom to store the H atom for later use to make water and electric power out of a safe hydrocarbon liquid at room temperature. Formic acid is just such a molecule!!!!

MVTG's inventor Professor Colin Oloman figured out just how to do that economically using abundant waste CO2 and then figured out how to make a new generation of fuel cells that could run directly on that formic acid fuel.

I fully expect to see MVTG's Professor Colin Oloman's work recognized in 10 years by a Nobel Prize in Chemistry as MVTG makes his technology a widely used solution to many energy and environmental problems we all face today.
