Mining scams typically say they're 'next door' to some legit miner (past or present), therefore they must also be legit. Doesn't work that way.

Besides, if they are next to a legit producer, it doesn't necessarily mean they must also always have the goods. If that were true, the claim next to them would also have mineable precious metal and the one next to that one and so on until, well whaddya know...I must have gold and silver in my own backyard, too!
