Alea: That is quite the kind assessment you gave. My view is much more stark.

I saw inept and arrogant (bad combo that) sales people from an unknown tiny company, trying not so hard to sell a questionable product that may or may not have addressed the problems to a yawning audience of the wrong people--[not the deciders] in an attempt to create a niche for themselves (Wave).

The big howitzer that was going to take Wave and its investors home was govt sales. Once again, Wave managed to mess this process up in every way, because they never understood the protocols and they were always in the wrong place pitching to the wrong people. Batting avg? .000

The few successes they had with the core product in non-gov companies [think GM BP PcW, etc.] were not enlarged upon or even renewed.

Wave had more than a few "agreements" with many extremely large tech companies [DoCoMo, for example] and even 'partnerships' [IBM, Intel, HP, etc.] most all of which resulted in negligible if any revenue.

As for Wave's previous mobile push--laughable in effort and execution.

The future? Well CEO Solms certainly sounds sensible as well as energetic, but he doesn't have much to build on, except an unenviably long string of great big floppy failures.

Now? It's a race between the first real sales coming in and when the $9+M PP runs out. If there is another big dilution before big sales--not sure Wave will survive in the form we know it--not that that's much.

I'm on the sidelines because it looks so bleak from my viewpoint. All the posts expressing optimism, depend on a few big maybes and even bigger ifs coming together in an unlikely progression against intergalactic odds.

The reality for Wave is quite grim. The silence on all the Wave boards tells a story of intense and deadly lack of interest. Wave has disappointed for so long, now that the truth has come out about how it will take a miracle or three to save the company--many have gone elsewhere or have given up.

All of which means the clock is ticking on Bill Solms with excruciating pressure with every tick.
