Actually theres a more detailed exclusion sheet out there somewhere ...specifically mentions that you are excluded if you can not get your LDL below 100 on max dose Statins ( and now also have TG's over 200 )

They excluded me because I could not get my LDL under 100 despite max dose Statins.

I later got my LDL down to 98 with max dose Statins, max dose Zetia , Max dose Vascepa ( see what a lab rat I am :)...re applied and was told in a round about way they they only want those they expected to event within 5yrs ( because these would benefit the most from the research ) ...and they figured I was not likely to

Sort of a bad news / good news kind of thing :)

PS Since stopped Zetia ...now down to max dose Crestor and Vascepa
