The S7 was built back in the old Saleen days when they had the Ford GT contract and an agreement with Ford to provide Mustang, Focus and F150 Truck chassis to Saleen at no cost.
That was a 6-7 years ago and before the company failed and was sold to a Detroit based company.
The S7 was built by a team of 12 employees who were very good at Engine Development, Carbon Fiber chassis design and production and assembly engineers from established racing backgrounds.
Those talented people Bill Tally, John Spruill, Randy McGee, Alan Leukhardt, etc....no longer work for Saleen.
There is no possible way the new and degraded Saleen Automotive Company that exists today has any potential to build a Supercar . Rediculous.
Also, the old S7 has no airbags and does not meet any emissions standards. You could not register the car these days . Also, Saleen has NO MONEY to develop a Supercar or a boxcart.
Get real with these post's .
