Maybe had LQMT been doing some production and proved themselves as up and coming competent manufacturers of amorphous alloy parts all these years, Apple may have extended the same type agreement as they did with GTAT for Sapphire Glass. But, LQMT didn't and hasn't proven they even could. At this point? I think Apple may just partner with an experienced non amorphous alloy manufacturer and develop their own manufacturing processes of amorphous alloy, should they decide to go that route. It's about having confidence in someone that can get er done, if you know what I mean. Apple has real production requirements and deadlines to meet.
