Wave/Standard

Thanks Unclevername...IMO Wave is the Standard for trusted computing.

"The Trusted Computing Group is very central to our business, and Trusted Computing provides an industry standard for hardware security as part of the PC platform. This hardware security is really driven in adoption in the market by logo compliance with the Vista operating system."

"Our efforts have really been focused initially in driving the standards in the market and participating in a number of the working groups..."

"...But really the first step that any large enterprise has to take is to standardize on all future computers we’re going to buy are computers with Trusted Platform Modules"

"Actually a really good example of this is the US Army in the course of February standardized on all future machines must included Trusted Platform Modules version 1.2 as part of what they call their “consolidated buy.”

"But then the next logical questions, which is actually a discussion we’ve been having over the course of the last period time with them, is okay now that I’ve standardized on this technology, how can I utilize Trusted Platform Modules within the network..."

"We’ve been investing very heavily in taking a leadership position in a new industry standard..."

"the evangelism of the technology both with partners and directly by Wave to convince people that this is a cool technology that they need to begin to leverage it and that it’s the industry standard."

"There’s an important component of network, and it’s really the Trusted Network Connect standards called Platform Trust Services"

"...that the fact that we are a pure play company in Trusted Computing that’s providing the full solution from the standards and chips and OEMs all the way up into the enterprise."

"...So we believe this is a tremendous market and I think all markets, all standards have ultimately driven pretty large markets when the PC OEMs have shipped it in volume..."
