Hi Net,

I talked with Brian yesterday. He is very discouraged with how long it is taking for various projects that claim the use of the KDS for their efforts in actually purchasing the machines. FASC makes samples after samples and are praised for the results but the contracts are slow to come.

Yes, KDS machines have been sold around the world. Most of them as in Asia are manufactured elsewhere with a residual actually coming to FASC.

To answer to the shipments to S. Korea; Korea makes their own KDS machines as Malaysia does. The problem they have is that China, Korea, Malaysia and the other Asian countries other than Japan, make inferior steel. Because of the importance of superior steel needed to be used for certain parts of the KDS machine, Mainland must make them for FASC and then they are shipped to Korea and elsewhere.

Brian has been asked to make many multiple ( 4 - 20 each) quotes. He has discounted for volume. The problem is getting the contracts signed and deposits received.

The current goal is to use any cash coming in to keep the doors open by paying down debts and doing some marketing through its dealers. I am told that Dusty with PacWest has been very busy marketing and promoting the KDS machines.

Finally, if something happens to Brian, Adam will continue working with the dealers that have been established around the world.

Brian says his entire experience with FASC has been an anticipation of "just around the corner."
